The Pacific Highway between Ballina and Tweed Heads (Bruxner Highway) currently covers a distance of 90.5 kilometres. When upgraded it will have a length of 88.5 kilometres.
Currently there are:
- 70.5 kilometres of four lane divided highway.
- 2.4 kilometres of four lane divided highway will be under construction.
- 17 kilometres is being prepared for construction of four lane divided highway.
