Have your say: designs for Tyndale to Harwood
27 November 2014
Drop in sessions are being held for local residents to comment on the updated designs for the Pacific Highway between Tyndale and Harwood.
Federal Member for Cowper Luke Hartsuyker said updates to the designs were made after earlier community consultations during the concept design and environmental assessment phases of the broader Woolgoolga to Ballina Pacific Highway upgrade.
“To ensure we deliver the best roads for local residents, I strongly encourage people to provide their feedback during one of the two drop in sessions on 3 December,” Mr Hartsuyker said.
Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan said a range of information would be available to community members.
“Designs for the highway between Tyndale and Maclean will be shown, in conjunction with the design for the Maclean interchange, as well as potential options for the Yamba and Harwood interchanges,” Mr Hogan said.
NSW Member for Clarence Chris Gulaptis said the drop in sessions will be held at the Maclean Civic Hall, 50 River Street Maclean, on 3 December 2014 from 10am-1pm and from 4pm-7pm.
“Locals residents will be able to ask the project team questions directly, and provide feedback on the changes that have occurred since the concept designs were displayed,” Mr Gulaptis said.
