Changed traffic conditions for essential bridge maintenance on Mid Dural Road at Galston
1 November 2017
Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on Mid-Dural Road at Galston from later this month for bridge maintenance.
The NSW Government is funding this essential maintenance work under its $1.5 billion program to maintain and improve the 18,028 kilometre state road and bridge network.
Essential work to repair bridge joints will be carried out 250 metres east of Sallaway Road across Colah Creek to provide consistent driving conditions and reduce maintenance costs in the long term.
Work will be carried out between 7am and 6pm on weekdays for 10 shifts between Monday 20 November and Friday 22 December, weather permitting.
Changed traffic conditions including lane closures will be in place during work for the safety for motorists and workers.
Every effort will be made to reduce the impact of noise from this work on the surrounding community.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Roads and Maritime Services thanks the community for its patience while work is carried out.
