Smoother, safer journeys on the Bruxner Highway
2 December 2019
Motorists travelling along the Bruxner Highway west of Casino will notice a smoother, safer journey with recent upgrades at Piora now complete.
Clarence Nationals MP Chris Gulaptis said the NSW Government had continued to invest in projects on the Bruxner Highway to help communities get to work, to school, and home to their families sooner and safer.
“The NSW Government is committed to ensuring safety for all motorists by delivering important infrastructure upgrades, big and small,” Mr Gulaptis.
“This project is part of the ongoing maintenance and improvement works along the Bruxner Highway and will support the 1300 motorists that use this section each day.
“The road pavement has been rebuilt, shoulders widened and a new guardrail installed on a two kilometre section of highway, west of Casino.”
The $2.7 million project was funded by the NSW Government and was delivered by Richmond Valley Council.
