Night work to improve safety on Syd Einfeld Drive at Woollahra
20 January 2014
Motorists are reminded night work will start tonight to improve the median and reinstate safety barriers on Syd Einfeld Drive between Ocean Street and Old South Head Road at Woollahra.
“The NSW Government has provided $120,000 to excavate the existing median, install a new concrete surface and reinstate median safety barriers to improve road safety,” a Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said.
“Work will be carried out for four weeks from Monday 20 January between Sundays and Thursdays from 9pm to 5am, weather permitting. Some minor work will be carried out during the day.
“Reduced speed limits and lane closures will be in place to ensure a safe work space.
“Minor traffic delays are expected and motorists should allow extra travel time.
“Every effort will be made to minimise the impact of noise from the work,” the spokesperson said.
