Have your say on a new electronic messaging sign on Pennant Hills Road at Oatlands
27 October 2015
The community is invited to have a say on the proposed installation of a permanent electronic messaging sign on Pennant Hills Road at Oatlands.
“The NSW Government has allocated funding to build a new electronic messaging sign between Westminster Avenue and Bettington Road to provide southbound road users with up-to-date information on traffic conditions,” a Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said.
“All feedback will be considered in finalising the proposal and community members are encouraged to have a say by Sunday 1 November.
“Installation of electronic message signs at key locations across the network aims to provide motorists with advanced notice of planned and unplanned incidents across the road network.
“The new electronic messaging sign on Pennant Hills Road will provide road users with important information including delays, crashes, special events and detours on James Ruse Drive, the Cumberland Highway, the M4 Motorway, Old Windsor Road and Windsor Road.
“The community will continue to be updated as the project progresses.”
Community members are encouraged to provide feedback to Pennant Hills Road permanent electronic message sign, PO Box 6465 North Ryde NSW 2113 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
