From 30 July 2018, registration charges are being waived on Class 1 agricultural vehicles.
Primary producers across the state will benefit from additional savings on their heavy vehicle registration costs until 30 June 2021.
Some primary producers will receive a partial refund on heavy vehicle registrations paid between 1 July 2015 and 30 June 2018.
Supporting access for heavy vehicles carrying larger loads to safely and efficiently move feed, water and stock in drought affected areas.
NSW councils can apply for up to $300,000 towards the cost of maintenance and minor improvement work on local roads where it will contribute to heavy vehicle access in support of the drought relief.
Primary producers can apply for a concession on their light or heavy vehicle registration. Find out if you qualify as a primary producer and how to apply.
