Improving bus on-time running Hornsby to Blacktown via Castle Hill bus corridor

Transport for NSW has identified some ways to improve the reliability of buses in the Hornsby, The Hills and Blacktown local government areas.

Project information

Please note local councils are responsible for the provision of shelters, seats, rubbish bins and footpaths.

For any information about the changes to bus stops please contact Transport for NSW on 1300 038 500 or via their website.

Transport for NSW and Roads and Maritime Services asked for feedback on a Review of Environmental Factors for changes to some bus stops along the Hornsby to Blacktown via Castle Hill bus corridor, mainly serviced by route M60, T70 and T71.

The NSW Government funded the Bus Priority Infrastructure Program. The program aims to improve the reliability of bus services on Sydney’s main bus corridors.

The changes are part of ‘Sydney’s Bus Future’, the NSW Government’s plan to redesign Sydney’s bus network to meet customer needs now and into the future. For more information please visit Sydney's Bus Future.

  • Making travel times more reliable for customers
  • Contributing to the NSW Government’s target of 95 per cent on-time running of bus services.

We assessed the environmental impacts of these changes to bus services along the Hornsby to Blacktown via Castle Hill bus corridor (route M60, T70 and T71) in a report of findings called a Review of Environmental Factors (REF). It was on public display from Monday 19 February 2018.
