Project information

Early planning and investigation work for the Link Road project is in progress.

Survey, geotechnical and preliminary environmental investigation work is being carried out and is expected to continue until early 2020.

The NSW Government has announced $30 million in funding to connect the Link Road and the Princes Highway, south of Batemans Bay.

In 2014, the NSW Government invested $10 million for Eurobodalla Shire Council to build the Link Road to manage traffic growth in the area.

The Link Road currently stops a few hundred meters short of the Princes Highway, this project will connect it by extending the road and building a new intersection.

The NSW Government investment will ensure that Batemans Bay receives the necessary infrastructure to support the region’s growth.

For the safety of workers and road users, motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, pay attention and follow the directions of signs.

Investigations will be carried out as required on weekdays between 7am and 6pm and Saturdays 8am to 1pm.

Motorists will be advised of any changed traffic conditions or extended work hours as they occur.
