MAR 2019Planning continues
Roads and Maritime Services is continuing to plan the potential upgrade of a 2.2 kilometre section of Stacey Street. The proposed upgrade will involve widening Stacey Street to create a divided six lane road. Key intersections will also be upgraded and new shared pathways will be developed.
More informationOver the last few months, we have been looking at ground conditions, utilities and drainage along the corridor to help us to develop a proposed design for the upgrade.
The project is in the concept design stage. Our investigations are helping us to design the new road, including where it should be widened, and other improvements. Once further details on the project are known, the community will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the proposed design.
