The NSW Government has funded the Gateway to the South bus improvements program. The program aims to improve the reliability of bus services on southern Sydney’s main bus corridors.
Transport for NSW understands that customers enjoy safe travel across a high performing and efficient network. We are proposing changes to some bus stops in Miranda, Caringbah, Taren Point, Sans Souci and Ramsgate, in consultation with bus operators and local council.
The changes are to improve bus reliability and on-time running along the Miranda to Bondi Junction via the Sydney Airport bus corridor. The changes will include bus stop removals and upgrades to comply with accessibility standards as per the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.
Transport invites the community to have their say on the proposed bus stop changes until 3 March 2021.
We will continue to keep the community updated as the project progresses.
