Heavy vehicle road access
Roads and Maritime is accountable for ensuring that everyone using NSW roads does so safely, while still allowing the transport industry to operate as efficiently as possible. Roads and Maritime promotes roadworthy vehicles and responsible behaviour by all road users.
Roads and Maritime supports the new National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) to process notices and permits for heavy vehicles in NSW and national road freight.
Further information can be obtained from the NHVR website.
